WhatsApp, the world's most popular messaging app, has finally introduced a much-anticipated feature: "DRAFTS". This long-awaited addition will significantly enhance user experience, especially for those who frequently switch between conversations or get interrupted mid-message.

In order to remind its users of the messages they started writing but did not send for any reason, WhatsApp has now unveiled the Message Drafts function.

When you enter a message but do not send it, the "Draft" signal will appear in green at the start of the message in the conversations list. This is how the Message Drafts function operates. To let you know there is a message you didn't send, that conversation will also rise to the top of the list of chats.

In India, we tested this capability on our smartphones and discovered that it is incompatible with companion devices, which means that the drafts do not sync across the devices (and the web).

Telegram gives its users the ability to begin composing a message on one device and transmit it from another. We think it's handy, and we hope WhatsApp will follow suit by supporting companion devices.
